My passion for photography and retouching began in my teens, when I taught myself Adobe Photoshop and discovered how images can tell stories about people, emotions, and the world around them. I helped found my high school’s first photography club, sparking a lifelong curiosity in capturing human connection, moments in nature, and conveying ideas through imagery.

Across South Africa, England, and Canada, I’ve worked directly or through agencies with brands including Telkom, Hudson’s Bay Company, Sears, Holt Renfrew, BMW, Hilton, BMO, and Air Canada, and served as Manager of Photography Editing at Harry Rosen. In all my roles, I prioritise a people-first leadership style, mentoring and supporting teams while blending technical expertise, creativity, organisation, and innovative problem-solving to elevate projects.

I’m inspired by the intersection of photography, human psychology, and nature - how light, composition, and environment convey emotion and meaning. I love creating imagery that captures moments, portrays concepts, and connects deeply with the human experience.
